From waste to a work of art, this is how local artisans from the island of Mallorca have conceived it, transforming this material from when it’s first sheared in the nearby farms to when it’s turned to felt.

This is a natural soap making social project run by people from the Garrover Foundation, where you then add the exfoliating element and an artistic touch to this purely local product.

First you will get to know the different states of wool (raw, clean, open, combed, spun and felted wool) in a typical workshop in the heart of the island. Discovering the natural colours of the mallorquin sheep breeds and the art of felting, with felting needles and combed wool, intertwining the different colours, as if we were experimenting on a blank canvas. And as a take away gift,  you will make your very own truly Mallorcan souvenir.
